The Contract Division at Brands International has successfully completed the construction and installation of the steel bridge and walkway linking Hamrun Secondary School with the Liceo (Lyceum).

Commissioned by the Foundation for Tomorrow’s Schools, the aim of the bridge is to make it easier for teachers and students to cross from one building to another instead of having to go down to the first floor and then cross over from one side to the other.

Brands International completed the full project scope, which included:

Masonry for the foundations of the bridge and walkway

Full metal works for the construction of the bridge and walkway

Wiring of walkway and bridge

Glazing works, louvers and vinyl flooring in the walkway

Furnishing of the outdoor area at the walkway.
